Wish Upon A Shooting Star

Here is an acoustic original, called Wish Upon a Shooting Star, I have been dabbling with for some time. Started writing this one a few years back, and is based upon the cliche of the wishing we all do; wishing wells, shooting stars, coin ponds, etc. I have the Lyrics posted below the video 🙂 Hope you enjoy!

I wrote this song in early 2010 for my little brother (Petri) & his new bride  to be (Marni). Rather than get up and give a speech at his wedding in Playa de Carmen, Mexico I passionately performed this song in a packed Italian restaurant. There are very few moments in life that can be labeled as truly spectacular and this is one I will never, ever forget.  I wrote this song from the grooms point of view where he sings to his bride telling her this is our time & I want to be with you forever… marry me.

I plan to record this song in studio later this year.  The lyrics are below the image.

Super Woman Lyrics

I wrote this song in March 2010. To give you some minor background as to the emotion behind the song, I wrote if for my daughters later in life. They will love someone and have their hearts broken when they lose them (break-up, death, etc). They will be strong beautfiful woman who just need to be put in front of a mirror and reminded that loving someone sets you free & because of who they are… they will love again.
